About
Hello & thanks for stopping in 😊
Ever since I was little I was fascinated with the Australian Shepherd and wanted to own this breed one day. Our family has farmed/lived in the country for quite awhile, so I knew the dogs would stay busy and at the same time be useful. At the beginning of 2021 I picked up my first Aussie and since then I’ve been hooked!
I've found that the medium sized Aussies (aka Mini Aussies) have the same spunk and abilities of the Standards, but only in a smaller package. I’ve been privileged to get my dogs from some great breeders who put time and effort into improving the confirmation of these dogs towards the standard of what they should be (larger heads, thicker in bone- hence better suited for the work Aussies were meant to do on farms) while still preserving the brains and abilities that are so essential in this breed if you want to use them as a working dog. Any breeding I do will be done with healthy dogs and towards the standard. I’ll only have 1-2 litters a year as the dogs are my companions as well and I want to spend a decent amount of time with each one.
The dogs go boating and hiking with us and I bring them with me wherever I possibly can and are wonderful sidekicks. Very loyal, tough, and eager to please.
I hope you enjoy browsing the website and seeing my dogs!
Any available puppies will be posted on the AVAILABLE PUPPIES page.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

A little more about the breeder. . .
Hi there! My first encounter with an Australian Shepherd was when I was 6. Our neighbor had a sister that visited occasionally, but I only ever remembered her by the dog she brought. . . sounds bad I know! I was too enamored by that cute blue merle Aussie. At the time, I wasn't very familiar with the breed but it didn't take me too long to learn more! After graduating in 2021 I finally got in to what I'd been dreaming of ever since I was 6. Tucker, Ruby, Rusty, Robin and Wren are the reason you will never catch me alone on the farm . . . But I have a fantastic set of siblings who are also my best friends- and keep me company too. . . and put up with my dogs. They don't complain when it comes time to round up the cows, sheep or goats! Just "get Anna's dogs", they say :) Besides my aussies I keep busy with my Holland Lops www.underhillhollands.com, managing my food blog and working for Underhill Ferneries- our family business down in FL. |
